Why "if possible"
Are you seriously suggesting that you could be considered for a position
without
ever having made contact with an "actual human being" ?

Have you never considered the possibility that this design flaw might not be
deliberate ? That some employers might welcome candidates who, initially
at least, are willing to take chances, to work around obstacles, use their
initiative etc.
