It's a fait accompli. The damage has been done and can't be undone.
All we can do is work toewards it never happening again.
It really isn't worth unnecessary confrontation.

There are no shades of grey in this. There is nothing to be gained by
confrontation with Trump over this. It needs to be handled behind the
scenes. Diplomatically.
