I'm not sure it's been explicitly stated but I do see people saying things that suggest that. However ISTM clear that we could leave without a deal on Jan 31st 2020, if there's a failure to get the withdrawal agreement through post election and assuming we either don't ask for or don't get a further extension. If the withdrawal agreement does get ratified by both sides by end of Jan 2020, then we formally leave the EU (albeit with much still applying to us) but might still end up on WTO rules at the end of the transition if no trade deal has been agreed. > > Let us say Boris gets back after an election with the majority he hopes, > then surely his government makes a new law, "The default€€ 'Leave' is > with no deal"? > > Why are people believing, a Deal only Brexit can now take place? > > Laws are repealed or new laws supersede old laws?€€ Yes? > > Tell me someone. No Parliament may bind its successors - a new Parliament can decide it wants to leave without a withdrawal agreement regardless of the current situation.
