didn't some pub/club try that argument where they were giving discounts to
women, but allowed men to temporarily self identify as women (some scheme to
promote self identification), in order to obtain the discount.
But when some men complained that it was demeaning to have to self identify
to get the discount, the club *were* told that their clever plan was in fact
discriminatory.
