Lose it though, and you can and indeed will be.
But a general election can't just be called by the Prime Minister.
Parliament has to agree to it with over two thirds of all MPs voting for
it. With the two main parties at present languishing in the polls and
facing the prospect of losing a large number of seats if there were to
be such an election, I don't see that number voting for one. The words
'turkeys' and 'Christmas' come inexplicably to mind.
