 Today the EU elected a new president, Ursula von der Leyen.  Calm, cool and 
 competent Ursula makes for seamless transition of the top job.  She'll 
 attend 
 to EU problems, such as Britain's chronic difficulties with Brexit although 
 the EU has bigger things to worry about. 
  
 Meanwhile, the UK expects its own new PM will be incompetent bungler Boris 
 who made a stream of rash promises which are impossible to keep.  The 
 country 
 remains divided and future proceedings in the British Parliament are 
 expected 
 to continue in chaos. 
  
 The smart money says former German defence minister Ursula won't be 
 kowtowing 
 to Trump's tweets the way Boris has been doing.  Unlike Boris, Ursula has 
 been a fierce critic of Trump and will stand up for what she believes in 
  
 What a contrast. 
  
 Soon to be poor and isolated, Britain is still seek reliable international 
 partners but none can be found.  Austerity Britain is heading to be the 
 trailer park of western Europe.
