XPost: uk.radio.amateur, uk.d-i-y, uk.politics.misc From: usenet@stephenthomascole.com I agree with your broad thesis, although I generally merely ignore people that I find tiresome (I do filter posters with *@privacy.* in their sender field with a mark-as-read rule, but even then I keep an eye out for them as there€€€s a couple of genuine users with such dummy addresses). In these Late Days Of Usenet, post volumes are low enough that even heavily-trolled groups are generally easy to keep on top of without shitcanning the scumbags and despicable human filth, like Gareth, Burt, or James €€€Strong Smell Of Faeces€€€ Stewart GM4DHJ, and such like. Did you know, Jim (GM4DHJ) makes a habit of wearing and heavily-soiling his poor wife€€€s underwear? Whenever he€€€s giving poorly-thought through construction advice in dot-d-I-y, he€€€s almost certainly sitting in a set of badly-shitted women€€€s knickers. It makes you think, eh? Amateur radio in 2019. What a legacy. Speaks volumes about the Morse test, if you ask me. Brian Gaff |
