 There are two questions I use to measure the character of people I meet: 
 1. Does might make right? 
 -and- 
 2. Do the ends justify the means? 
  
 The correct answer to both is... NO. 
  
 Yet any Conservative American will answer without hesitation, Yes! 
  
 A perfect allegory of American thought is wrestling. 
 If you're not big, strong and mean, you'll get stomped on. 
 And the referees are like public opinion.  They're helpless to stop what's 
 going on 
 and when anything important happens, they're looking the wrong way.
