[continued from previous message] Resistance fighters in the city to come out where they can be mowed down. Dr. Ahmad Jabbar al-?Ali, Director of ?Anah Hospital told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that in the last two days, seven pregnant women died out there, and that four elderly persons had also perished in the harsh conditions at the height of summer in the desert. Dr. ?Ali said that more were on their way to a slow death if not food or tents can be provided for them. Dr. ?Ali spoke to the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent about two hours before the arrival of a charity group from the United Arab Emirates ? the Zayed Charitable Foundation ? that distributed six truckloads of food supplies, tents, covers, and canned goods to the beleaguered families. Prior to the arrival of the group from the UAE, no aid from anywhere had been provided the refugee families, including nothing from the puppet so-called ?Iraqi government,? Dr. ?Ali noted. This was in flat contradiction to claims by Layth Kubbah, the official spokesman for the US-installed ?government who had claimed that the families had been provided with enough aid to last them until what he called the ?cleansing of the city? of Rawah by the Americans had been completed.
