 No one blamed all cops,  even during the Serpico years, 
 the Molinari Commision,  the Dirty Thirty,  The Morgue 
 Boys,  etc.,  on and on.  We (The Public) take them all, 
 and the situations and times they're in,  in context and 
 with trepidations. 
  
 Therefore anyone who suggests that the Public won't 
 give police a fair hearing or will jump to conclusions, 
 is just blowing smoke,  and probably for a very good 
 reason.  They're trying to defend the indefensible and 
 this kind of rhetoric is all they have.
