Not only countries are balking at Kerry's "invitation", but hamsters too. Worse, they are denying the Kerry story about his rescuing one of their own. What really happened that day on the dock was that Kerry, as is his wont, stumbled, and knocked the cage into the water. The dog then jumped into the water and saved the hamster's life.
