 I don't recall denigrating or demeaning the accomplishments of Lance 
 Armstrong. What I said was: 
  
 Fact: Lance Armstrong is a strong supporter of the Bush administration 
 Fact: The Bush administration is responsible for murder, mayhem, and 
 national bankruptcy. 
 Fact: This makes Armstrong a defacto supporter of the policies of the Bush 
 administration; consequently 
 Fact: I personally find it morally questionable to support him. 
  
 By supporting Bush, Armstrong lends credence to an administration that is 
 creating extremely serious problems (455 billion dollar deficit this year 
 alone, anyone? 700,000 million seriously pissed off Muslims?) that we're 
 going to be dealing with for years, if not decades to come. So, far be it 
 from me to cast a shadow on Lance's accomplishments; I'm just not going to 
 throw a party for the MF.
