 How is it that Bush and his administration, 
 did not notice the anti air defense system 
 deployed at the G8 Summit??? 
 Did anyone on his staff inquire as to what 
 they were deployed for? 
  
 Does the President go blissfully through his 
 day,  not taking notice of the world and events 
 that happen around him?  Or,  does he merely 
 quickly forget these things? 
  
 Remember this was July 21, 2001 
 in just two weeks he would relieve 
 a fateful memo,  warning of terrorist 
 attacks and a serious threat of commercial 
 jetliner hijackings.  How could the two not

 G8 summit death shocks leaders 
  
 GENOA, Italy (CNN) -- World leaders 
 called for calm as streets stood empty 
 Friday night outside the site of the Group 
 of Eight summit, in marked contrast to 
 the violent demonstrations during the 
 day that left one man dead from gunfire 
 and more than 100 other people wounded. 
  
 Security forces have detained more than 
 50 people.

 SECURTY AT THE SUMMIT 
  
 About 15,000 police are on duty as 
 part of the $110 million security 
 operation. 
  
 Surface-to-air missiles, fighter jets 
 and naval ships form part of the 
 security operation, which is also

 summit from attacks by terrorists.
