 Job Description: 
 Our Midtown NYC client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to be 
 responsible for strategic and tactical network engineering and 
 administration services for their corporate division. 
  
 This positions also provides enterprise level network leadership including 
 research and development, network topology architecture and design, day to 
 day implementation, operation and administration, troubleshooting and 
 problem resolution. 
  
 Additional functions include management of the corporate TCP/IP WAN/LAN, 
 including making network recommendations, planning, design, configurations, 
 operation and admin. Spanning internet, security, firewalls, routers, 
 switches, VPN, wireless, video and supporting protocols. 
  
 Position requires 5-7 years of network engineering, admin and management and 
 3-5 years LAN/WAN design.  Heavy CISCO (CCIE certified a plus) experience, 
 strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP,FTP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SSL, SSH/SCP, 
 SMNP, Frame Relay circuits, SDLC and private lines, BGP OSPF and 
 troubleshooting of cabling systems including fiber optic and CAT5.
