 Our client located in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a Network 
 Security/Intrusion Analyst to be part of a team responsible for 
 network security, security threats, etc. 
  
 You are required to have an understanding of the general principles of 
 netowrk security, a knowledge of historical and current computer 
 security threats, and how they impact confidentiality, integrity and 
 availability. You are also required to have a strong working knowledge 
 of Networks, Routers, Firewalls and DMZs, a familarity with IDS 
 signatures, IP service ports, IP protocols and TCP concepts. You 
 should be well versed in monitoring Intrusion Detection Systems, 
 threat analysis and actions needed to supress threats. 
  
 The salary can go to $110,000 plus excellent benefits. This position 
 is bonus eligible. They will only consider LOCAL candidates and THEY
