 Our client located in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a Software 
 Engineering Tools Specialist to be responsible for providing technical 
 leadership, mentoring and engineering support for the deployment of 
 commercial software development tools, including CASE and RAD tools. 
 Other duties will include assisting in the design and development of 
 new custom software development tools, including extensions to 
 existing tools and training internal developers on the use of tools. 
  
 You are required to have a minimum of 12 years software engineering 
 experience including deep C++/Unix development and additional 
 platform/programming language skills (Linux/Java, Windows/VB, etc.)It 
 is also mandatory that you have solid experience with CASE tools 
 development and customization, and a working knowledge of a broad 
 range of commercial and open source IDEs and tools (Rational, 
 Together, Eclipse, MS Visual Studio, etc.) Excellent verbal and 
 written communication skills and presentation experience are a must. 
  
 The salary can go to $125,000 plus excellent beenfits and the position 
 is bonus eligible. They will only consider LOCAL candidates and THEY
