 Our client located on Long Island is looking for a Senior Manager of 
 Corporate Accounting to be responsible for restructuring and 
 integration of reserve accounting, account reconciliation preparation 
 and review, investment accounting and improvement review. Additional 
 duties will include supporting the effort to expedite close process to 
 meet management expectations and accelerated closing process; ensuring 
 compliance with SEC and GAAP accounting; liaison with external 
 auditors; identifying areas of process improvement opportunities and 
 managing 3 direct reports. 
  
 You are required to have a minimum of 7 years overall accounting 
 experience with at least 4 years in public accounting, the balance in 
 private industry; a minimum of 2 years management experience and 
 strong technical knowledge of US GAAP is required. 
   
 The salary can go to $95,000 pluse excellent benefits and perks 
 including 4 weeks vacation to start, an employee stock ownership plan, 
 etc. They will only consider LOCAL candidates and THEY WILL NOT
