FIRST, let me say, I am IMPRESSED with this post. This would appear to be
the FIRST time EVER that you have posted something REAL without fabrication
(perhaps some efficient editing, but you didn't change the meaning or slant
of the original article) -- GOOD!

As for your comments, there is some validity to it of course. Promiscuity
does have a price. In certain groups of homosexual males, promiscuity is
common, which explains the increase in syphilis infections noted. And it is
probably true that either through lack of education or ignorance, these
groups of people are letting their guard down.

Also add to that the fact that males in general are more likely to seek out
sex. (If heterosexual women in general were of a similar attitude, there
would be similar problems across large groups of heterosexuals too). On top
of that, there are the closetted and maladjusted homosexuals that are part
of the culture of self-hate. They do not value themselves the way they
should, and when you don't respect yourself, you take risks, and sometimes
expose others to risks at the same time.

Of course, STDs generally are not a concern among monogamous or married
 couples, same-sex or opposite-sex.

In any case, good article, and much better than that whole Lyme Disease
 fiasco.

I have a question for you, why have you set the x-no-archive feature on your
 posts?
