We can go with involuntary manslaughter. Some places that's equivalent
to 3rd degree murder. If an inmate dies a violent death while in the
warden's protection, that is prima fascia evidence for the warden's
guilt and conviction for involuntary manslaughter. What is that, about
10 to 20 years in most places?
Convict a few of them and the rest would start paying more attention to
their responsibilities to the inmates in their care. The warden has an
ABSOLUTE duty to protect every man in his custody and care.
