 No, Arafat himself is a terrorist. 
 He was the leader and voice of the PLO, a terrorist organization. 
 He became the spokesman, because at the time the PLO was the only 
 significant organized Palestinian group. 
 He was legitimized in the media, but always a terrorist, still a terrorist, 
 never renounced it by deed. 
  
 Hell when he was running the Authority it was like putting the wolf in 
 charge of the chicken coupe. 
 Enabling some of the worst terrorism, importing weapons, and doing nothing 
 against terrorism to prevent or prosecute it. 
 If you talk to Palestinians, they hate Israel, but the average person does 
 not hate them because they are a Jewish state, because they occupy, harrass, 
 and make their lives generally miserable. That is what they hate. And they 
 don't seem to understand it is their terrorism that perpetuates their
