Come off it Phil, he's a lawyer, he knows better than to trust
statements given out-of-hand. He would have had good reason to
suspect that necessary testing could not have been done or
completed when he made his statements parroting the EPA line.
Oh well, the people who believed him now need to know that
they've been subjected to health hazards needlessly. All that
remains is for such health problems to materialize and they'll
have the Ex Mayor to curse and maybe even the city to sue for
needlessly and negligently exposing them to such dangers.
Either way you cut the cake it is not a good thing for either
Bush or Rudy. They have both done the public a great disservice.
