| Subj: 1989 GMC SUBURBAN $600 |
From: humayuna@comcast.net 1989 GMC SUBURBAN TRUCK $600 First the bad news, Truck leaks Transmission Oil. You have to add in Transmission oil after driving for a little while. Leak was less before but more now. Last time I drove it I carried two bottles of trans oil with me just in case. I have not taken it to the mechanic because I got a new Chevy Suburban and do not wish to spend money. That's about all the bad news there is. Now the good details: Don't expect a new truck but it is pretty good and well maintainted. Over the years I took good care of it as my wife used it to commute to work. Truck has 5.7 liter engine, nice and powerful. original 125,000 miles. Interior is nice. Third seat is included. Nothing torn or broken.Carpet and seats can use some cleaning as my son keeps spilling his cookies and juice. Everything else is intact and and working. Ice cold front and Rear air-conditioner. Cassette player plus radio. I have put in brand new tires on it. Hardly used them 400 miles. I am itching to take them off to save them so I can use them with my new Suburban but I will not. Some body rust around wheel wells. If you can have it fixed it will look nice. All and all a decent truck which has served my family well so much so that my next choice was a suburban too. I hate to dispose it but I have two cars and we don;t want to pay for insurance for a car which we will not use much.. That is the only reason I did not take it to be fixed. ASKING: $600 If interested contact me by email or call: 201-615-7960. I would be happy to show you the truck I am in Hackettstown which is on Rt.80 near Exit 19. --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
