 We've just purchased this adorable "handbag" from an older estate. It's not 
 marked and I believe it may be a reproduction of an original bag from the 
 19thc. White metal, possibly Mexican silver. The dimensions are 3 1/2" tall 
 x 2 1/2" wide. It's adorned with small rounded stones, multicolored, 
 dangling silver beads and a long 20" chain. The top opens and the rear 
 hinges are fine. 
 Overall the condition is excellent. A very one of a kind piece. Not a 
 practical handbag but a decorative accessory for the evening or perfect for
