 1998 Longton Crown "New York Rangers Original Six" Limited Edition Tankard 
  
  
 I have for sale the 1998 Longton Crown "New York Rangers Hockey's Original 
 Six" Limited Edition 'Goalie Mask' Tankard. The tankard measures 8" (in 
 hieght) (with Lid) x 7" (in diameter) in the shape of a New York Rangers' 
 Goalie Mask in New York Ranger Team Colors. The lid features The NHL 
 Stanley Cup and states 1928, 1933, 1940, 1994. On the back of the Tankard 
 included is the History Of The New York Rangers sating: "They represented 
 the Big Apple - New Yorkers expect winners. The New York Rangers' third 
 Stanley Cup came in 1940, their fourth in 1994. During the intervening 
 fifty-four years, they packed Madison Square Garden with demanding, often 
 disappointed fans. Some years the team was woeful; though more often the 
 team was in the thick of the fight - reaching the playoffs but falling 
 short of the prize. Finally in 1994, led by a brilliant center, a stand-out 
 goalie, and a determined coach, the Rangers claimed what had eluded them so 
 long." 
 On the bottom of the stein's base it states: 
 "NEW YORK RANGERS "National Hockey League The Original Six" Limited Edition 
 Tankard Collection. This unique sculptured interpretation of a Ranger 
 goalie mask in fine stoneware has been commissioned by Langton Crown. 
 Officially licensed by the National Hockey League. No. 0832 Edition limit 
 120 firing days."
