 It *is* Pomme Frites, it's on Second avenue, between St. Mark's Place and 
 East 7th Street. 
  
 If you are familiar with the East Village, from Broadway/Astor 
 Place/Lafayeette Street, walk East on St. Mark's until you reach Second Ave, 
 make a right turn at Gem Spa (keep this place in mind for terriffic Egg 
 Creams later...) and Pomme Frites is right down the block. 
  
 If you want great burgers, try Paul's, right next to Gem Spa!
