 Tomoe at 172 Thompson is definitely open for lunch on Saturdays, and I 
 personally think it is THE best sushi restaurant in Manhattan. And I 
 say that having tried Haru and many of the other places in the city. 
  
 Please note that there's another restaurant called Tomo near Columbia 
 that's NOT affiliated.
