Thanks for this info, but I don't trust the head office to stop the crimes
of its underlings. Chances are they know of this practice and don't really
object to it. Of course they would be more diplomatic than the store and
apologize to me, and maybe even give me some coupons, but you can be sure
that while I'm being treated with respect, other customers are still being
swindled, and will continue to be. I've filed a complaint with the
appropriate city agency.
