 I wish this were true, though I doubt it. The more intelligent among 
 Republican/Conservatives know it is essential to keep their Neanderthal side 
 hidden, lest their credibility be impaired. I do believe there is merit in 
 some conservative thinking, particularly in the area of economics, but the 
 freedom-stealing, fascistic dogmas that are an inextricable part of the 
 right-wing mentality have GOT TO GO if America is to ever be what it was 
 intended, or hoped, it would be.
