  Are you in favor then of using the military budget for welfare 
 people? And how would giving people military money raise our standard 
 of living. Also, the US even now has the highest standard of living in 
 the world. 
  The left is constantly complaining that the military is not 
 strong enough to be fighting terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq. But 
 when it suits them, they say that the military is fine just as it is.
