 In my many years of mailing and shipping experience, I must say that the 
 "service" given by the US Postal Service is the WORST available from any 
 shipping carrier that I know of. I have experienced far too many stupid 
 errors, long delivery delays, misdeliveries, lost letters, damaged or "lost" 
 parcels, and difficulty with insurance claims. 
  
 No matter how long the line is, only one or two of the five service windows 
 at my local post office (Kensington, Brooklyn 11218) are staffed - and as a 
 result you sometimes must wait in line well over half an hour. 
  
 I advise everyone to mail only by e-mail or FAX, and ship via UPS, FedEx, 
 Pony Express - ANYTHING but the USPS! A massive consumer boycott would 
 probably be the only effective tactic, as complaints fall on deaf ears. 
  
 Don't "go postal" - go elsewhere!
