   Only desperate idiots would fail to differentiate between 
 increased economic activity and an economic recovery. 
  
   An economic recovery means that there are more jobs, they 
 are easier to find and better paying jobs (upward mobility) 
 is available, as well as increases in pay and earnings for 
 the people on the bottom.  Anything less is mere churning of 
 money in the hands of the people to have it to churn with. 
  
   Businesses, ever hopeful, are making purchases of newer 
 more efficient equiptment already three years overdue. 
 Since they are not hiring any new employees to run this new 
 equiptment, they must not see any recovery in the falling 
 inventories.  Guess why?  Because those inventories will be 
 replaced by people and factories working overseas! 
  
   The economy is broken, if it heats up it will quickly melt 
 down. It will take decades to fix the things that have been 
 tinkered with that shouldn't have been.  Each day is 
 dragging BushCo, towards the realization that they've done 
 serious damage to the nation and they haven't a clue how to 
 fix it.  In fact they haven't even a plan to improve or 
 support the few things left that still continue to work in 
 spite of their worst efforts.
