 Because LBJ's debt pales in comparison to the debts accumulated by GW, not 
 to mention GHWB and RR.  LBJ was wrong to say we could have war and a Great 
 Society without paying for it.  Bush is dead wrong for going to a war under 
 false pretenses, for cutting taxes for the rich, for cutting environmental 
 standards, and for overseeing the largest job loss since the Great 
 Depression. 
  
 I can deal with my problems:  my property taxes and my fuel costs.  And I'll 
 manage to pay for my kids' higher education.  I'm fortunate.  But the 
 nation's economic problems are a looting of the general population.  Anybody 
 who says "that's your problem" is a self centered moron who doesn't realize 
 that the health of the larger society maintains his own wealth.
