 Readers in NYC may be aware of a "$50 fresh food free" offer 
 from the http://www.freshdirect.com/ on line grocer.  This ends 
 in about a week (8-31-2003). 
  
 I just learned 1) they do deliver on this offer and 2) it actually 
 includes whole coffee beans. 
  
 The beans are freasonably fresh, good-but-not-great - - this 
 offer could come in handy for those stocking office pantries 
 or having some commercial use for 8-10 lbs. of beans at once.
