 I have a local news server (inn-2.4.2-102 on SuSe 10.3) an I would like 
 to import articles from a very old news server. I have the file 
 structure from the old server under news/articles, and news/overview. I 
 copied them into the correct place, edited the files "tradspool.map" and 
 "active" manually, and it works more or less. I don't see all of the 
 messages in thunderbird but only the first messages, 91 from 123, 3 from 
 42, etc. Something is wrong. 
  
 The question is, how can I create (rebuild) the .DAT and .IDX files 
 under news/overview? Perhaps they are not correct. 
  
 Any help is welcome.
