| Subj: Moderation mail cue at ISC |
XPost: news.groups From: sunclad@sunclad.com Does anyone know if the moderation forwarding system at ISC.org batches out on a fixed schedule or are all messages immediately forwarded? I'm tracking a series of delays for an ALT group I moderate and haven't decided if the delay is in the NNTP servers batching messages to ISC (destine from there for the moderation cue), or if there is also a delay in batching to me from the ISC mail box. Messages are coming through, but I'm seeing a delay of 60-90 minutes. My first thought is the NNTP's batching, but the headers I am seeing suggest a mail delay from ISC as well. Could be a random passing thing of course. I'm doing some additional testing Sunday. DMK --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
