Some people might argue that maintaining an archive is, in fact,
something that Google provides. For instance, searching Google for
answers to technical questions has saved me quite a bit of time. As I
bonus, I've refrained from asking questions that have already been
answered.

I could be wrong, but I'd be surprised if Google turns a profit on
Usenet. Would these people also block Google's robot from indexing
their web pages?
