 For nntp, click on "Search RFC Database", then enter keyword nntp. 
 You should get RFC0977 and RFC2980 
  
 HOWEVER, nntp is not what you want.  NNTP is the transmission protocol, 
 the commands and responses servers exchange to get date across.  What 
 you really want is "usenet".  Use the keyword "usenet" in the above 
 search and you should get RFC1036.  That contains info on headers.  At 
 least, I think that's the RFD I have in mind.
