| Subj: How to (propose?) deletion of newsgroup? |
From: bret@classicade.com I've conducted an informal poll for several newsgroups that I frequent, and the overriding majority favor deleting the following: rec.games.video.arcade.marketplace rec.games.video.arcade as most (all?) of the content in these groups is mirrored in: rec.games.video.arcade.collecting I have searched and not found specific details on what steps need to be done (or if it is even possible?) to delete an existing public newsgroup. What I'd like to know: - is it possible to have a newsgroup deleted? - if so, I presume it is through a vote-taking proposal. How do I go about starting that process? Thanks for any info. --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05 * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2) |
