Incorrect. With a good reason, private discussion is perfectly
acceptable to me.

Correct. And seldom is there a good reason to take public discussion
private.

I'm not trying to stand on high moral ground, I'm just being me, and I
choose to do it anonymously. Very often people who choose to be anonymous
are stereotyped as flamers, trolls, abusers, etc because lots of flamers,
trolls, abusers, etc are, of course, doing it anonymously.
To stereotype a person based on the actions of others instead of the
person themself is simply wrong, and that's what a certain individual
has been doing on this very newsgroup.
