I think I see the headers that way but I still miss seeing multiple
newsgroups. What I meant to say is that eventhough the newsgroups are there
to see I don't see them. That is why I said something about making them
flash; so I would be more likely to know that there are multiple newsgroups.
So in other words I was (not entirely) serious.
I don't use the preview pane, though. I turned it off to reduce the chance
that spammers would benefit. I don't miss it. However a better way to reduce
spam is to set the option to always use plain text for viewing email. Many
spammers have a way to get notified that we have previewed and/or opened
their email. That makes our email addesses worth more since they have
verified it is good. I seem to finaly see a reduction in spam I am getting,
but it seemed to have taken about two months after I turned off HTML
viewing.
