I suspect that there is much less technical photography discussed by
P&S owners, however.

I'm quite happy for people to take this elitist stance providing
they're going to come right out and state it in those terms. Inventing
different contexts of photography that depend on equipment just isn't
there yet.
This is why I proposed a different group split in another thread.

Because I don't want to have to put up with Thad posting the charter
in full every time someone mentions one of the aforementioned, in much
the same way as he clearly had in mind with crossposting.
