It's not about "ends". "Ends" have absolutely nothing to do with it.
It's about how the cameras are used and, more to the point, how they are
discussed. A camera that is technically an SLR but has a fixed lens is
in the same category as the "ZLR" cameras with regard to how they are
used and discussed. It just plain, flat-out makes no sense to include
them in the "SLR" group. Almost nothing in that group will be of value
to the owners of those cameras.
