My theory is that there is either only one troll forging Guy Macon, or
two trolls, one of whom is trying to pretend to be the other. The
original troll dislikes Guy Macon for some reason, possibly because
Guy Macon has certain qualities that the troll lacks, such as
intelligence and honesty, or because Guy Macon has used those
qualities to point out what was wrong with some previous postings of
the troll under some other identity.
It isn't so much that his opinion is valuable, but that the troll
knows that Guy Macon's opinion is more valuable than that of the
troll.
