 Point and shoot digital cameras are capable of excellent image quality. 
 I know - I own several of these cameras, and I have no plans to get rid 
 of any of them. Many, if not the majority, of point and shoot digital 
 camera owners will not need to move on to more expensive equipment 
 unless their current cameras no longer fit their requirements.
