 I understand your points. I would like to thank you for keeping an open 
 mind, James. The NAN moderation team decided that it would be best if we 
 merged all digital photography proposals under a single RFD. Each group 
 will pass or fail based on the vote - which is a glorified interest poll 
 for each group. If any of the proposed groups fail, it will indicate 
 that there is not sufficient interest to justify creation of the new 
 group at this time. The level of interest will be measured independently 
 for each group.

 Me too. I own the Nikon D70, and the 3100. I love them both. When I go 
 on my second honeymoon in December, I will be taking the 3100 with me - 
 not the DSLR kit.
