Well, I had a lengthy private conversation with Giorgio. They
offered to prove their existence either via phone conversations or
notarized statements. We didn't take them up on either, however.
I think you guys are way off base on this "questioning their
existence" angle. Their motives for voting are another matter, but
as indicated in previous threads, we don't tend to scrutinize
people's motives. It might not even be possible. There are some
"ideal" reasons for voting one way or the other, we can say.
Regarding their motives, note also that the complaint is that they
might NOT be "interested" parties. At worst, they are neutral
voters, weighing in on whether a proposal seems like a good idea
(which people in this newsgroup sometimes do too). It's a different
kettle of fish from a proponent/opponent trying to prevail by
soliciting other voters. It also remains to be seen whether they
continue.
