 If we were stubborn proponents, we would not have changed the proposed 
 name. The name was changed to more accurately convey what the group is 
 for - digital SLR body and lens systems. The rangefinders were dropped - 
 for one, there were too many complaints about including them, and second 
 because Rose was already planning to propose such a group. She pointed 
 out that it might be offensive to many Leica M* owners if we kept them 
 in the digital SLR systems group. It was suggested by the NAN mod team 
 that all photography proposals merge - and that is what happened. Each 
 group will pass or fail on its own merit.
