 The "troll crap" of late has been very low.  I have no active 
 filters on at all. 
  
 OTOH the volume of posts to rpd has been very high, so high that 
 is difficult to wade through the headers, never mind the actual 
 posts of interest.

 After considerable discussion on the name of the group, the 
 general conscensus has been rec.photo.digital.slr .  Your 
 proposed name will no doubt receive due consideration by all
