 This is a formal Request for Discussion (RFD) for the creation of 
 a world-wide, unmoderated Usenet newsgroup soc.religion.satanism 
 This is not a Call for Votes (CFV). You cannot vote at this time. 
 Procedural details are below.

 life.

 An explanation of why this newsgroup cannot be modified was added to 
 the rationale. 
  
 RATIONALE: soc.religion.satanism 
  
 There are no newsgroups within any of the eight traditional Usenet 
 hierarchies that focus on the discussion of Satanism. Creation of 
 soc.religion.satanism would fill this gap. 
  
 To remain consistent with the Satanic way of life, this newsgroup will 
 not be moderated by any human or other animal being. An individual's 
 actions based on free will should not be preempted by another 
 individual. 
  
 CHARTER: soc.religion.satanism 
  
 S.R.S. is here to encourage a greater exchange of information and to 
 promote discussion of all aspects of Satanism: Satanic literature, 
 Satanic philosophy, Satanic culture, Satanic rituals, Satanic music, 
 Satanic life. 
  
 Binaries, child pornography and spam are forbidden. 
  
 The Nine Satanic Statements (From the Satanic Bible) 
  
 I  Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence! 
  
 II  Satan represents vital existence, instead of spiritual pipe 
 dreams! 
  
 III  Satan represents undefiled wisdom, instead of hypocritical 
 self-deceit! 
  
 IV  Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love 
 wasted on ingrates! 
  
 V  Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek! 
  
 VI  Satan represents responsibility to the responsible, instead of 
 concern for psychic vampires! 
  
 VII  Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, 
 more often worse than those that walk on all fours, who, because of 
 his "divine spiritual and intellectual development, has become the 
 most vicious animal of all! 
  
 VIII  Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to 
 physical, mental, or emotional gratification! 
  
 IX  Satan is the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept 
 it in business all these years!

 PROCEDURE: 
  
 This is request for discussion, not a call for votes. In this phase of 
 the process, any potential problems with the proposed newsgroup should 
 be raised and resolved. The discussion period will continue for a 
 minimum of 21 days (starting from when the first RFD for this proposal 
 is posted to news.announce.newgroups), after which a Call For Votes 
 (CFV) may be posted by a neutral vote taker if the discussion warrants 
 it. Please do not attempt to vote until this happens. 
  
 All discussion of this proposal should be posted to news.groups. 
  
 This RFD attempts to comply fully with the Usenet newsgroup creation 
 guidelines outlined in "How to Create a New Usenet Newsgroup" and "How 
 to Format and Submit a New Group Proposal." Please refer to these
