Well as I hread the lore talk was considered the junk groups, chatter
as oposed to serious discussion, that was costly to transmit over seas
at a rather high cost.
soc.aquiaime (spelling) was defending in part because it was not
talk.foo at standing a better chance of being carried worldwide.
It was not an issue of moderated or unmoderated with the understanding
that talk.* was unmoderated. Even that agreement has been broken
concerning one talk goup that I know of that has moderation now.
Of course as always I defer to corrects by more senior members and
lore keepers, as from time to time the sources of lore in retrospect
were not as realiable as first appearence felt. Of course the same
applies to mr, I can be in error.
